“The decision to zero-rate data usage on the Tingg mobile app is part of our strategic intent of offering a distinct customer experience and making it easy for everyone to access financial services for communities said Tingg Head of Delivery Faith Pella in a media statement. The high data costs are a major barrier for entry for consumers into the digital financial space. We believe that this proposition will enable hard-pressed consumers to easily pay anyone and minimise the usage of cash without having to worry about the cost of data.”
