Africa’s premier Fintech company, Cellulant, held its inaugural Tingg Agents town hall meeting in Lagos, Nigeria. The event had over sixty registered Agents in attendance, Agents were happy to be received, educated and refreshed as they were briefed and taught new concepts and techniques in the industry. The Agents were adequately briefed on all Tingg services with insights on business operation and ways of making extra income.

The event was hosted by the Community Manager, Johnny Akaniyene, who welcomed the Agents and introduced the Tingg concept anew to them, in his words, ‘’Tingg is not just another payments app used for transferring money, making bills payments and saving money in e-wallets. Tingg has evolved from simply providing mobile wallet account and e-payment services to payers across the country’’

He went further to add that ‘’Tingg has now transformed into a complete lifestyle-enabling tool for individuals and businesses across Nigeria & Africa. The tingg super app enables easy access to digital financial services including peer-to-peer payments, savings, retail loans, airtime, ticket purchases, investment & other lifestyle services in Nigeria & across countries in Africa’’

Product Manager, Joy Nimem, spoke about improved security measures on the app and rolling out new features on the platform to serve users and agents better. such features include signing up new agents directly from the app, mapping phone numbers directly from the app, etc.

New Agents were onboarded on the platform and existing agents introduced to the ongoing Tingg Xpress Bundle where agents transact for industry all-time low of NGN6, thereby granting Tingg Agents better opportunities to earn more on the platform.

An excited agent, Samson, shared when asked of his experience on the platform after being an Agent for over 6 years, ‘’the experience is perfect, this initiative of bringing agents together to learn and network is a wonderful idea and I hope tingg continues like this’’ he said. Another long term Agent, Bilal, also said ‘’Tingg has one of the most stable platforms out there and the pricing makes business easier for us, so I want to say thank you to tingg and I hope we will see more of this kind of events where you allow us agents to connect and relate our everyday experiences to you’’

The event was an entertaining and informative session from the get-go and agents were reluctant to leave even one hour after the event as they networked and connected with other agents and executives.
